In 2018, they found the perfect property—surrounded by tall pines and just minutes from downtown Cambridge.
Tony’s construction background allowed them to be hands-on with every detail from design to finishing touches, ensuring Pinewood was crafted with heart and intention. They opened the venue in 2019 and have since focused on creating seamless events that reflect the same care they put into building Pinewood.
In 2014, Kate and Tony Becker hosted their wedding at Kate’s grandparents' farm, which sparked their desire to build a space where others could enjoy stress-free, thoughtfully curated events.
With years of experience in the wedding industry as photographers, they recognized the need to combine modern amenities with the natural beauty of Minnesota in an event space.
