We wanted to build a venue and team that would allow our clients and their guests to have the most enjoyable experience, while also designing many functional elements into the building for our vendors to make the day as stress free as possible for all.

And as people who love the great outdoors, perhaps our biggest dream of all was to create a modern, upscale venue that connects people to the beauty of nature that we are surrounded by in Minnesota. We’ve poured so much of our hearts into this property and team, and it brings us so much joy to share Pinewood with you! Thank you for being here!

Pinewood was designed by joining aesthetics with functionality.

We started our careers in the wedding industry in 2010 with our photography business which led us to the creation of Pinewood! During our time spent behind the scenes at hundreds of weddings and events through photography, we were dreaming of how we would create a venue and loyal team unlike anything Minnesota has to offer.

Hi there! We’re Kate & Tony Becker

Meet Krysta, our President and the heart behind Pinewood’s operations! From the very beginning—when Pinewood was just a sketch on paper—Krysta has been instrumental in bringing it to life. With many years of experience in the wedding industry, she’s the driving force behind the scenes, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and leading our team with responsiveness, support, and care.

When she’s not at Pinewood, Krysta loves spending time with her husband, Max, their three kids, Baker, Crew, and Collyns, and their beloved dog, Maizy.

Meet Jill, our incredible Operations Manager! Jill joined the Pinewood team in 2021 as an Event Manager and quickly became an integral part of our operations, stepping into her current role in 2022. From the moment a client books their event to the day they host it, Jill is there every step of the way, ensuring no detail is overlooked and every event runs seamlessly.

Jill’s responsiveness, organization, and keen eye for detail make her a true asset to our team and a reassuring presence for our clients. She’s passionate about creating stress-free, memorable experiences and takes pride in bringing each client’s vision to life with care and precision. We’re lucky to have Jill at the heart of Pinewood!

Our Event Sales Manager, Dana joined the team in 2022. She works closely with prospective clients, ensuring the booking process is seamless, stress-free, and tailored to their unique needs.

Dana’s thoughtful approach, excellent communication skills, and genuine passion for helping people make her a true standout. She takes the time to understand each client’s vision and helps set the stage for unforgettable events. We’re so grateful to have her as part of the Pinewood family!
